Yield: 6-8
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

For the dip

  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz marinara
  • 8 oz low-moisture mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper

For the chips

  • 8-10 lasagna sheets
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsps freshly grated parmesan
  • Garlic powder
  • Oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

    1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna sheets 1 minute shy of al dente per cooking instructions. Coat baking sheet with olive oil.
    2. Drain pasta and lay out on baking sheet, flip to coat in olive oil. Allow to cool.
    3. Preheat oven 375°F. In a cast-iron pan (or frying pan) over medium heat, sauté ground beef until cooked through, drain fat. Return to stove, season with salt and pepper then add minced garlic. Cook additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.  Stir in marinara. Remove from heat.
    4. Transfer beef sauce to oven-safe dish if one was not used for cooking beef. Dollop ricotta cheese throughout top. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted.
    5. Meanwhile, prepare the chips by using kitchen shears or knife into desired size/shape. Arrange in single layer in baking sheet. Sprinkle top with garlic powder, oregano and parmesan cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes until desired doneness, keep a close eye to make sure they don’t burn. A light golden color results in the perfect crunch. Serve along the lasagna dip and enjoy!
