If you have never had a dutch baby pancake, they are probably one of the easiest breakfasts you can make while feeling ~ fancy ~ at the same time! When you take it out of the oven it is all puffed up like a soufflé and looks so without the toppings let alone once you dd the toppings. This takes minimal effort to prepare and is perfect for brunch with guests!

Ingredients

1 cup AP flour

1 cup whole milk

4 eggs

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

2 tbsp melted unsalted butter

2 tbsp butter, for preparing

Toppings- berries, powdered sugar, mint, syrup, jam, etc.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. To a blender add flour, milk, salt, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds.
- Over medium heat, melt remaining 2 tbsp butter in a 10 inch cast-iron pan until bubbly and foamy. Immediately pour in egg mixture and place in the oven. Bake until edges are golden and center has slightly puffed up, about 18 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, add your toppings and enjoy!!
