- 2 heads of garlic
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- ½ shallot, minced
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 to 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Slice the tops off the two heads of garlic, drizzle with a little oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until soft and golden. Let cool slightly, then squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out and mash them into a paste.
