Peanut Butter Jelly Wings

All I have to say is don’t knock it until you try it. I was trying to brainstorm some different wing recipes so naturally I asked Ross for his opinion. When Ross suggested this to me I thought he was joking!! When I made them I was speechless. They were GOOD.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup grape jelly
  • 2 tbsps hot sauce (I used Frank’s)
  • Dash cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat smoker to 250°F. Pat wings with paper towel to dry. Toss in olive oil then place directly on the smoker. Smoke for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through. Bump up the temperature to 425°F and bake until internal temperature reaches 175°F and outside is crispy (20-30 minutes). Remove from smoker and transfer to a bowl.
  2. While wings are smoking, prepare the sauce. In a frying pan over medium heat, mix together buffalo, peanut butter, jelly, hot sauce, and cayenne until smooth and remove from heat.
  3. Pour over wings and toss to coat. Serve with jelly for dipping and enjoy!
